Personal Pilates classes are available as either one to one or one to two classes.
One to one classes are available for those needing to rehabilitate after an injury or operation. As an experienced Osteopath I understand how abnormal movement patterns can occur as a result of pain and dysfunction, in fact when your pain is relieved, it doesn’t always automatically follow that the muscles that have down-regulated will switch back on and compensatory muscle patterns may remain. This is where clinical Pilates can make a huge difference – retraining muscles so that normal movement patterns resume and future episodes of pain are avoided.
Alternatively, you may be pain free but would prefer exercising on your own or with a friend or family member, in which case 1:1 or 1:2 classes can be individualised to meet your general exercise aims or abilities.
Sessions last 45 Minutes and, with your permission, can be recorded on Zoom, so you can re-play and practise at a later date. Prices are here.
