Sandra Harris BA(Hons), MSc(IT), IIHHT, ICHT, ECBS
Time Out Therapies is owned and run by Sandra Harris from her home clinic in Stoke Gifford. Sandra has a corporate background. Her eyes were opened to the benefits of massage after a workplace treatment, whereby she was able to return to her desk calmer and instantly able to prioritise her workload. She has been hooked on complementary therapies ever since.
In 2003 she studied for a Diploma in Holistic Therapies. During this time, her equine interests provided an awareness of the benefits of Bowen Technique and how it was being utilised as a remedial technique with horses. In 2005 she decided to study with the European College of Bowen Studies and qualified in February 2006.
Sandra has worked as a Support Worker at Filton College, supporting teenagers with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia and Asperger's Syndrome in achieving their chosen qualification. This is a particular area of interest, as many Bowen children's clinics have reported that remarkable results can be achieved with perseverance and patience. Sandra was CRB checked for her role at Filton College. For further information, please read the BTER website and follow the links to children's clinics.
Sandra has created a calm and relaxing environment at her clinic, as she believes that it is only when the body is fully relaxed that healing can take place. She is committed to deepening her knowledge by attending professional development programs (click here).
